About Threadli

Threadli is a marketplace for knitting and crochet patterns, built in Norway for makers everywhere. We connect independent designers with people who love to knit and crochet — and we keep the terms simple and fair.

Every pattern on Threadli is created and sold by an independent designer. When you buy a pattern here, 90% goes directly to the person who designed it.

What we believe

Hand craft deserves a fair marketplace. Designers put real work into writing, testing, and photographing their patterns, and they should keep most of what their work earns. That is why Threadli takes just 10% per sale and covers the payment fees — no subscriptions, no listing fees, no fine print.

For knitters and crocheters

Buy patterns in seconds — with an account or as a guest with just your email. Your patterns are delivered as PDF downloads you can open on any device, and they stay available in your purchase history. Patterns are available in Norwegian, English, or both, depending on the designer.

For designers

Threadli handles payments, secure file delivery, and downloads so you can focus on designing. Publish in two languages, set your own prices in NOK, and get paid automatically through Stripe.

Who is behind Threadli?

Threadli is built and run by Texicon, a small Norwegian software company. We build Threadli in close dialogue with the people who use it — feedback from makers and designers shapes what we build next.
