Help & FAQ
Quick answers about buying, downloading, and selling patterns on Threadli.
Buying and downloads
Do I need an account to buy a pattern?
No. You can buy as a guest with just your email address — we send you a download link right away. With an account, all your purchases are also collected under My purchases.
Where do I find patterns I have bought?
If you have an account, everything is under My purchases. If you bought as a guest, use the download link in your purchase email. The link takes you straight to your files.
What format are the patterns in?
Patterns are PDF files (some are delivered as ZIP bundles). They work on mobile, tablet, and computer, and you can print them if you prefer paper.
How do I pay?
By card, through Stripe — one of the world's largest payment providers. Prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK), and your card details never touch our servers.
What language are the patterns in?
Each designer chooses: Norwegian, English, or both. The recipe page shows what is included before you buy.
Selling and payouts
What does it cost to sell?
Listing is free. Threadli takes 10% per sale and covers the payment fees, so you keep 90% of every sale.
How do payouts work?
Payouts run automatically through Stripe to your bank account. You set this up once during seller onboarding with your ID and account number.
Can I sell in both Norwegian and English?
Yes — every pattern can be published in Norwegian, English, or both, in the same listing.
